Welcome to the training portal of the Bundeswehr Training Center CIR (AusbZCIR) on the Internet. The protection of your personal data is of utmost importance to us. Therefore, we would like to inform you about the data protection of the training platform AusbZCIR.

According to Article 13 EU DSGVO, there is a duty to inform when collecting and using personal data (pbD). The attached data protection notice contains an overview of the processing of your personal data by the training portal system. At the same time, you will be informed about your extended rights.

3 Purpose and legal basis of processing


The training platform is used to conduct basic and advanced training as well as course-related training for soldiers, civil servants and, if applicable, employees. Participation takes place as a mandatory part within the framework of course-related training.
The legal basis is the statutory provisions on data protection.
When you visit this site and use the platform, the following data is stored by default in log files for technical reasons:

IP address of the requesting computer
Login activities
Date, time and duration of access
Name, first name
Personal number
Mail address
User behavior
further voluntarily given information (e.g. profile data)

4 Privacy notice regarding the use of third-party extensions


Like many other companies, we use third-party extensions (social media, analytics tools, marketing tools, etc.). In this context, personal data (e.g. IP numbers, information from pseudonymized cookies, geodata, etc.) may be disclosed to the third-party providers or transmitted automatically. The type, scope, purpose and duration of this processing of personal data may vary in individual cases.

5 Duration of storage


The data in your user profile is stored until the user profile is deleted. The data from participation in a course will be stored until the course participant is tendered by the subject teacher or the course participant himself.
Results from tests, learning packages, assignments and data on the completion of the training/course and the overall assessment are stored until the expiry of statutory retention obligations.

6 Right to information, correction and deletion of personal data


You have the right to request information at any time about what data is stored about you and for what purpose it is stored. In addition, you can correct incorrect data or have such data deleted whose storage is inadmissible or no longer necessary.
To assert the above rights, please contact the above-mentioned persons responsible.

7 Right to revoke the declaration of consent / consent


The processing of personal data takes place against the background of Article 6 (1) (e) of the European Data Protection Regulation in conjunction with Section 3 of the Federal Data Protection Act and on the basis of Section 26 of the Federal Data Protection Act.
You have the right to object to the processing of your data at any time (Art. 21 EU Data Protection Regulation).
If you object, your personal data will no longer be processed. An exception exists insofar as compelling reasons worthy of protection exist that outweigh your interests.
The right to object is not an automatic obligation for the controller to delete the data. If the responsible party has storage obligations for other reasons, it will weigh this up and inform you.
The revocation may result in you no longer having access to the learning platform thereafter and your participation in the training/course is no longer possible.
If the processing is carried out within the scope of your employment relationship, the right of revocation may be restricted.

To revoke your consent, it is sufficient to:
a simple message to the person responsible for data protection or.
Use of the technical possibilities of the platform in this regard.

8 Right to complain to the supervisory authority


If you believe that the processing of data in the system is not lawful, you may contact the above-mentioned data controllers or the data protection officer.
You also have the right to complain to the Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (BfDI) if you believe that your rights have been violated in the collection, processing or use of your personal data (pursuant to Art. 77 DSGVO). The BfDI will investigate the complaint and inform you as the data subject of the outcome.
